About
This competition is organized by Coghill Capital Management, a family office based out of Chicago, running a Long/Short Hedge Fund. It recently hired an analyst out of school through a similar stock pitch competition and will provide a platform for participants to demonstrate their analytical skills, investment strategies, and presentation abilities.
Event Format
Round 1: Submit one-page investment thesis by EOD October 26, 2024
Round 2: Top 10 finalists will be announced on October 28, 2024
Round 3: Finalist presentations on November 2, 2024
Investment Criteria
Minimum market cap of $200mm
Daily dollar volume of $500k
Long or Short
Be ambitious with price targets
100% upside is more attractive than 15% upside!
